Treatments are quick: average of 10 - 15 minutes

3DMIRACLTM is a treatment performed with the UltraClear® device. Treating very superficially
in the uppermost layer of skin. This treatment is fast, comfortable and triggers natural
exfoliation that typically occurs 2-3 days post procedure. Normally done in a series of 3-6
treatments, patient typically experience noticeable change after a single treatment.

Depending on your goals, your provider may recommend a series of 3DMIRACL treatments— a
great “gym membership” for the skin OR a combination approach utilizing multiple UltraClear
modes to address deeper lines, wrinkles, and scars.
Nothing is “one-and-done”, but since UltraClear offers a better laser experience for patients, it
is an easy skin solution to incorporate into your skin care plan.
It is normal for patients' skin response post treatment to vary greatly. Some patients feel
nothing except a slight warm feeling. Some patients report more of an intense "sunburn
sensation". Either way, this tingly heat resolves relatively quickly, typically 15 mins to a
few hours. A zimmer chiller, fan or cool packs (compresses) can be used to cool the skin
post treatment.
1. SOOTHE, DON’T SCRATCH. Soothe with gentle cleanser to relieve the itch and gently
allow for peeling skin to slough off.
2. HYDRATION IS KEY. Keep the area hydrated. Don’t scratch or pick.
3. DECREASE SWELLING. Icing or using cool packs (with a gauze barrier) and sleeping
with your head elevated can decrease swelling.
4. LIGHT EXERCISE. Avoid saunas, hot yoga, and strenuous exercise for about one
week post treatment.
5. SPF IS YOUR BFF. Continue using SPF 30+ and reapply every couple of hours.
6. SHAVING. Men should avoid shaving until the skin has sloughed.
NO PETS IN BED, CLEAN PILLOWCASES AND THE USE OF VINEGAR SOAKS AS
NEEDED.
POST-TREATMENT. Redness, sunburn sensation, tingling, and sensitivity are normal.
Heat will peak post treatment and slowly dissipate.
DAY 1. Slight redness (erythema), slight swelling (edema). Skin feels soft and silky
before the exfoliation begins.
DAY 2-6. Patients notice their skin beginning to naturally peel.
1 WEEK. Patients report their skin feels more even and smooth.
1 MONTH. Gradually results improve over 1-2 months post treatment.
• Pacemaker or internal defibrillator.
• Superficial metal or other implants in the treatment area.
• Current or history of skin cancer, or current condition of any other type of cancer, or pre-malignant moles.
• History of any kind of cancer *
• Severe concurrent conditions, such as cardiac disorders.
• Pregnancy and nursing.
• Impaired immune system due to immunosuppressive diseases such as AIDS and HIV, or use of immunosuppressive medications. *
• Diseases, which may be stimulated by light at the wavelengths used, such as history of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Porphyria, and Epilepsy. *
• Patients with history of diseases stimulated by heat, such as recurrent Herpes Simplex in the treatment area, may be treated only following a prophylactic regimen. Poorly controlled endocrine disorders, such as Diabetes, or PCO for hair removal.
• Any active condition in treatment area, such as sores, Psoriasis, eczema, and rash.
• History of skin disorders, keloids, abnormal wound healing, as well as very dry and fragile skin.
• History of bleeding coagulopathies, or use of anticoagulants.
• Use of medications, herbs, food supplements, and vitamins known to induce photo-sensitivity to light exposure at the wavelengths used, such as Isotretinoin
(Accutane) within last 6 months, Tetracyclines, or St. John's Wort within the last twoweeks. *
• Excessively tanned skin from sun, sunbeds or tanning creams within the last two weeks.
• As per the practitioner's discretion, refrain from treating any condition, which might make it unsafe for the patient.
NOTE: In case of uncertainty regarding potential side effects, have the patient consult his/her physician and bring a written consent for treatment. Also, a small area should be treated and assessed a few days later to determine if the patient will tolerate the treatment without developing adverse events.
Cautions + Considerations: If treating an area that has had injections previously,
neurotoxins and/or natural fillers (e.g. Hyaluronic acid, collagen): Wait 4-6 weeks.*
